Northern Ireland and Ulster 10K Road Championships

The Bangor 10k doubled as the NI Championships and disappointedly only two Sky Blue and Navy vests were on show. Namely Sarah McNutt and Phil  Cairnduff. The pre race preview of the Women’s Championship made no mention of the Sarah but with a superb personal best of over a minute she found herself on the podium with a bronze medal and first female Master. A more controlled first mile certainly paid dividends  as she finished strongly up the final hill.
