Monday Mob Christmas Flash Mob

The final Parkrun Flashmob of 2023 took place at the very exposed and windswept Knockbracken. Nineteen members (plus Stuart Bennett who needs to get a club vest on) tackled the three and a bit laps course. A few got caught out by the bizarre rolling start and lost over 30 seconds on the leaders.  Youth conquered experience with Grace Bennett setting a PB of 19.29  in 10th place overall and third female. Then slightly older Shileen O’Kane also dipped under 20 minutes with Richie Edwards the first male in 20.04. Sadly Eric Here was injured but enthralled the assembled runners before the run with his own inimitable rendition of Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer and then assumed the role of Marshall and photographer.
