Silver For LVAC Ladies at Irish National League Final

On the 13th of August 2023 the Lagan Valley Mens and Ladies Teams made the trek to Tullamore having both qualified for the Division 1 Irish National League Final. This was the first time the club has had both teams qualify for the final since 2003 so it was sure to be a great day. 

A tough competition lay ahead for both teams who were up against the best clubs in Ireland and both put up an amazing fight. 

The men improved on their round 1 performance by finishing in a brilliant 6th Place overall which is a positive sign of what’s to come in the future. 

The ladies excelled themselves in a very close race for the podium, finishing in 2nd place just a few points off the top spot. This is the first time the Ladies have medalled since 2002 and was a very proud day for the club.
