There are always a few for whom parkrun is just a wee, well “Walk in the Park”. Three such intrepid ultras took on the Marathon in the last two weeks.
Ian Bailey and Trevor Wilson nipped across the pond and conquered the Snowdonia Marathon which, as the name implies, was a tad hilly. Ian crossed the line in 3:57:47 placing 16th in his age category with Trevor close behind him finishing in 4:01:33hrs for 21st in his category.
Keith Dawson also crossed the pond only in the other direction and produced a lifetime best of 2:53 in New York. Well Done all three.
