Comber XC

Ballydrain Harriers once again provided a great event at the Comber XC with a tough course made tougher with added hurdles along the way. 

Suzanne Higgins was first home for the club in the ladies race with a 12th place finish. Suzanne was close followed by Shileen O’Kane in 19th and Martina Elliott who finished in a excellent 2nd place in the W60 race. There was also great runs from Khara Edgar who finished 43rd overall and 10th in the Senior race and Katy Dunn who was 25th in the Senior Category.

In the Masters mens races Philip Brines took a fabulous victory in the M60 Category and Eric Montgomery finished in a brilliant 5th in the M65 race. Trevor Wilson was 9th in the M60 with Fred Hammond a brilliant 3rd in the M70 Category. 

We had three men In the Senior race with Richard Edwards, Marco Boeri and Aidan Brewster all running well.
