Lagan Valley AC were out running off the turkey in a number of venues on Boxing Day with a number of successes. 

 Tommy Arthur had a great run in a hotly contested Farranfore 5k in Kerry where he secured am excellent PB of 15:43min for a 5th place finish. 

 At the Brockagh Bay 5k Scott Owen topped the podium in the junior 14-16 category in 17.20min. 

 New Recruit James Askew was in action across the pond in the Chevin Chase near Leeds. The course which consists of over 11 kilometres and 850 feet of elevation is no mean feat and James managed in with strong average pace of 4.06min. 

 Trevor Wilson took the Mournes for the long running annual Boxing Day Turkey Trot, which is a clockwise circuit of Slieve Meelmore, 7.5k in length with a height gain of 400m. Even if he was wearing the wrong colour vest, this was impressive going. 

John Glover and Martina Elliott ensured the sky blue and navy was represented at the CIYMS 5k Boxing Day Fun Run organised by Orangegrove.
