Belfast Sports Awards 2024

On Friday 22nd March our U20 Cross Country Men swapped the spikes for bow ties for the Annual Belfast Sports Awards having been shortlisted for the prestigious Junior Team of the Year Award. 

Courtesy of their National Junior XC Success in Gowran in Nov 2023 and their subsequent International representation at the European Club Championships the mens team were crowned the winners of this award. 

This is a fantastic achievement for the men and another proud moment for the club, with the girls having won the award last year as well. 

Janet Price was also nominated for the Coach of The Year Award which was a fantastic achievement. Janet is such a worthy nominee after all the hard work and commitment she puts into our ever improving and expanding Sprint Squad. Janets enthusiasm and encouragement is unrivalled and we are very lucky to have her and delighted to see her being recognised.
