London Marathon Success
Not to be outdone by the excellent LVAC Junior performances in the mini marathon the previous day, two of Lagan Valleys AC’s Seniors took to the start line of the 2023 TCS London Marathon and again made the club proud.
Daniel Squires in his debut marathon showed his class with an amazing 02.42.03 which is an unconfirmed new Club Record. The perfect way to start your marathon career and even made sure to star the LVAC vest on the BBC.
Ian Bailey was our second representative. A seasoned veteran to the marathon distance, he made this occasion a family affair running the race alongside his sister.
Lagan Valley AC also had Elaine Bailey there to act as their support crew and to ensure they were cheered across the line. Well done all.
