Irish Age Group Championships 

After very successful NI and Ulster Championships we had 21 athletes representing Lagan Valley in the Irish Age Group Championships throughout July and August.

 Each and every athlete made the club proud and with some brilliant performances. LVAC came home with 7 medals, with Lughaidh Mallon topping the podium in the U20 Men 1500m and Aida Zaukauskaite and the U16 boys taking the silver in the U18 Girls Hammer and 4x100m respectively. The bronze medals went to Jude Glover in the U16 boys High Jump, Harry Nelson in the U18 Boys Triple Jump, Jason Craig in the U19 Boys Javelin and Tommy Arthur in the U20 Men’s 3000m Steeplechase.
