Club Coach Jim McKeown had the well deserved honour of being selected to share team manager duties with Catherine Diver (Beechmount Harriers) for the NI & Ulster Under 20 Team at the Celtic International Cross Country in Leeds.

Over the weekend I had the privilege to share team manager duties with Catherine Diver (Beechmount Harriers) as an NI & Ulster Under-20 select delivered strong performances at the Celtic International Cross-Country held in Newsam Park, Leeds (Sat 8th Feb 2025). The Under-20 Men’s team secured a commendable third place, led home by Oisin McGloin in 19th position (3rd Irish finisher). Top finisher for the for the women was Irish National Junior XC Champion Lucy Foster in 9th (1st Irish Woman).
Under-20 Women

– Elsa Moore (Lifford Strabane AC) 24th
– Ava Diver (Beechmount Harriers) 25th
– Katie Graham (Lagan Valley AC) 28th
Under-20 Men
– Oisin McGloin (Lagan Valley AC) 17th
– Finn Diver (Beechmount Harriers) 23rd
– Tom Fleming (Loughview AC) 25th
– Noah Harper (Lagan Valley AC) 37th
Also competing with distinction in Leeds for their respective Irish U17 select teams were Madison Welby (City of Lisburn AC) 6th, Abby Smith (Shercock AC) 13th, Emma Stewart (Dromore AC) 19th, Kari Foster (Willowfield Harriers AC) 22nd, plus Rory Armstrong (Lagan Valley AC) 28th. Madison ran an outstanding race to help the Irish U17 Women to team victory.
