BUCS – Manchester 2023

18.14The May bank holiday weekend saw Marianne Doherty and Stephen Lunn in action at 2023 BUCS (British University) Championships in the Sportcity Stadium, Manchester. Both swapped the sky blue and navy for their respective university colours with Stephen representing Queens University and Marianne representing Newcastle University.

 First up was Stephen who opened up his outdoor season in Heat 2 of the Mens 1500m, finishing strongly in a time of 4.18. 

Marianne made her track debut over 5000m with a respectable time of 18.14 in what was a large field of runners.
