Born 2 Run Sea2Sky Challenge
The 25th July was the Born 2 Run Sea2Sky Challenge. This race offered a 10k and 5k event and includes a mix of road and track before heading up into the foothills of the Mournes.
The club was represented in both events and in the 5k managed to take the title in both the men’s and women’s event. Stephen Lunn took the men’s event in a time of 17.14 with Hayley McAteer crossing the line as first lady home in 21:10min.
In the 10k event first home for the club was Stephen McAteer in 9th place with a time of 40.5min, he was followed by Claudio D’Arconte in 51:06, Catriona Donaldson in 52:24, Ian Bailey in 53:59 and Elaine Bailey in 1:10:51.
