Acorns XC 

Lagan Valley 4 battle the tough conditions in Mid Ulster for the Irwin Spears Memorial XC hosted by Acorns AC.  

4 hardy LVAC athletes travelled to Cookstown on Saturday 9th December 2023. The conditions underfoot and weather made for a very tough race but all performed well. 

Suzanne Higgins  finished in a strong 5th place and 2nd in the W40 category with Liz Dawson finishing well in 37th. Trevor Wilson and Phillip Brines braved the conditions in the mens race with Philip finishing 3rd overall in the Masters event and 2nd in his age group. Trevor was just behind Phillip in 12th place. The event was followed by some post race ice baths in the puddles.
