2025 Lagan Valley Fab 5 Series

2025 saw our most successful Fab 5 Series to date with record numbers across the season getting entered for the underage events was like getting Taylor Swift tickets!!!

The Weather Gods were good and each of the 5 meetings had the sun shining with great conditions, allowing for some brilliant performances from all athletes aged 8-80

These events are the perfect setting for beginners to Olympians, which couldn’t have been better displayed than in our last meeting of the year where the meeting started with  the U10 100m being won by a young athlete who was stepping onto to track for his first time and was finished by one of the top 400m fields in the country this season which included 5 athletes aiming to secure selection for the upcoming World Athletics Championships.

Lagan Valley would like to say a massive thank you to all the Athletics NI Officials and club volunteers who gave up their valuable time to help at out events who create a safe and enjoyable environment for us to compete. We couldn’t do it without you.
