National Combined Event Championships 

LVAC has three athletes taking part in this years National Combined Event Championships, coming home with a medal in each colour.  

First up was Laura Frey competing in the Senior Ladies Heptathlon. Laura put together some great performances to take a National Bronze Medal.

Lynsey Brown on her return form injury brought her enthusiasm and talent in abundance as usual and was rewarded with the gold medal in the W40 combined events. Lynsey has been working hard in training in the Long Jump and produced a life time best of 4.13m on her way to gold.

A good coach can guide their coach to success but a great coach leaves a lasting impression and what better way to do that than to go and medal at a National Championships. Barry Morris showed his athletes how it is down by taking the silver medal in the M75 Combined Events, a mere 10 points behind the leader.
