National League Preliminary Round – Athlone
The Athlone International Arena and Technological University played host to the 2024 National League Preliminary Round.
Lagan Valley travelled with a strong Men’s and Ladies Team to battle not only the other teams from across Ireland but also against torrential downpours throughout the day.
This year’s event had all entered club and county teams competing together at the one venue resulting in a busy day for all.
The Ladies team finished a brilliant 6th place claiming them a spot in the Premier League Final while the Men’s team finished a strong 10th claiming a spot in the Division 1 Final.
Both Teams now travel to Tullamore, Co. Offaly on Sunday 28th July for the Final.
